Design Consultation - Lavish Jewellery

02 DESIGN CONSULTATION

Either before or after finalising your Custom Order Form, we can begin discussions around the design specifics of your dream ring. This might be in person at our Brisbane or Sydney Showroom, virtually via a video consultation or simply through email or phone communication.

Our Custom Ring Design incurs no additional fees, with a turnaround of 7-10 weeks. We require a 50% deposit to initiate the remainder of the Custom Process.

Digital CAD Design - Lavish Jewellery

03 DIGITAL CAD DESIGN

Approximately two weeks after processing an initial deposit, you will receive a computer aided design (CAD). This is a technical drawing of your ring design, outlining your chosen specifications.

Your CAD can be amended as many times as you feel necessary, and we will reflect the changes you have made through updated CAD variations. Once approved, we begin the crafting process.

05 Ring Completion

Upon your ring's completion you will receive communication from our team. This is inclusive of a video of your ring, so you can see just how beautiful your finished piece is. We will also include any relevant shipping information or support you in arranging a time to collect your ring.

Yes, absolutely. You can book an in-person consultation at our Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne showrooms. Our design consultants will guide you through the process, showcase loose stones, and discuss your design ideas.

No, custom engagement rings do not incur any additional "design fees" compared to our signature collection. The final cost depends entirely on the precious metal, setting style, and the carat weight/specifications of your chosen diamond or gemstone.

Because each ring is crafted bespoke to your chosen specifications, the price varies. We can work with you to design a ring that fits your style and stays within your budget.

Yes. We require a 50% deposit to initiate the digital CAD design stage and secure your diamonds or gemstones. The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion, before collection or shipping.

The standard timeframe for custom ring design and crafting is 7-10 weeks. This includes the initial consultation, CAD design approval, stone sourcing, and handcrafting in our atelier.

We recommend ordering a complimentary ring sizer from our website or visiting our showrooms for an accurate sizing. If the size is slightly off after crafting, we offer one complimentary ring resize within 30 days of collection.

Once you receive your digital CAD drawings (typically 2 weeks after deposit), we recommend reviewing and providing feedback within 5-7 business days to ensure your order remains on schedule.

All of our bespoke fine jewellery pieces and custom engagement rings are proudly crafted in-house by our master jewellers in Australia, ensuring the highest standards of luxury and quality.

Yes, we keep you informed at key milestones, including deposit confirmation, CAD design approval, diamond/gemstone selection, and when your ring is completed and ready for pickup or shipping.
